I’ve been reading Apartment Therapy for years, drooling over these perfectly curated homes and hoping that one day I could have a home just as picture-perfect. When I moved into this 1928 Spanish-style building, it immediately felt like home. All of the little trinkets I had been curating for the last several years finally found a home. After a year of living (and working) here, I decided to just rip the band-aid off and submit some photos.
To my surprise, they published them just three days later! It was a fun 15-minutes of fame, watching my follower count go up and re-reading all of the wonderful comments. Below are some of my favorite comments that I read:
“The sofas are like a Baudelaire poem, cozy velvet, cushions and curtains, exquisite taste here, even the small kitchen is comfy!”
“I could spend hours just exploring all your little discoveries and hearing all the stories behind them!”
“Beautiful cozy space! I can imagine myself on a cold Denver day, sitting in Grandma’s accent chair with a cup of tea while the delicious smell of a freshly baked carrot cake wafts over from the kitchen.”
“I feel at home here.”
